THE DATE OF THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST TO EARTH

  • Can the exact date of His Return really be known?

I.1) The state of the Church: the cause of its lethargy.

First of all, and you will agree with me, can you satisfy claims that so far have only demonstrated the impotence of those who argue? If this is the case, it is true that the Church has not come out of its lethargy, or is not aware of its condition. Has not Jesus warned us that at the end of time the Church will be immersed in a sleep, to awaken just moments before its departure, at His coming? This is the only alarm clock The Church of the end times prophesied in the Bible; one of the ten virgins. But now, during the trail phase, the Church is exposed to the invasive apostasy we have already mentioned. This is one of the signs before the Day of Christ (at the end of Part I). The Church must first realize its current condition foretold by the Lord - since we are at the end of time – and therefore recognize what the Bible says. It must also consider the reasons which keep it in this state. This is what I want to talk about with you, because the question of the date of His Return is largely responsible for this situation.

II) The biblical verses subject to controversy regarding the date of the Return of Jesus

Let us now examine more closely the Bible verses put forward by the opponents of dating of the "day of the Christ", claiming that it is impossible to know the time of His coming.

1) First confusion: verse 36 of Matthew 24:

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only" (Matt. 24 :36).

First, and most importantly, Jesus speaks of a specific date, expressed as this day. The key is to know what day it is! The context of this verse shows that this day is the "day of the Lord" and not the "day of the Christ" and it is for this reason (as we shall see), that this day cannot be disclosed precisely because only the Father knows.

We must therefore take into account the fundamental difference between the "day of the Lord" in the New Testament, its equivalent being "day of the LORD" in the Old Testament, and this other term: the "day of the Christ."

Biblical meaning of expressions: "day of the Christ" and "day of the Lord"

  • Day of the Christ:

The manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ, mentioned in 1 Cor. 1 : 7, is described as being the day of our Lord Jesus Christ in the verse which follows (V8) :

V7. "…So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 1 : 7-8).

That day is the hope of every Christian. First, those already dead in Christ (1 Thess 4. 15-17), and secondly we, the believers in Christ and the final generation, who are deemed worthy (Luke 21: 36 Version Martin and Ostervald), will be assisted by our living at the coming of the Lord to find his future Bride. This unprecedented event is called the Rapture.

The day of the redemption of our body (Rom. 8: 23) is mentioned in seven New Testament passages: it is called in these expressions: "the day of our Lord Jesus Christ" see above (1 Cor. 1 : 8) ; "the day of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 5 : 5 et 2 Cor. 1 : 14) ; "the day of Lord Jesus Christ"  (Philippians 1 : 6) ; "the day of Christ" (Philippians 1 : 10 ; 2 : 16 and 2 Thess. 2 : 2, version Martin and Ostervald). And that day has nothing in common with the "Day of Lord".

  • The day of the Lord or The day of the LORD

It is clear that "day of the Lord" shall not be confused with the previous expression "day of the Christ". This is the basis of any understanding of the prophetic books of the Bible. Whenever the term "day of the Lord" is used in the New Testament, as it is written, it is synonymous with the term "day of the LORD" in the Old Testament (Is. 2 : 12 ; Joel 1 : 15 ; So.1 : 7 ; Matt. 4 : 5…).

The expressions "day of the LORD" and "day of the Lord" have, therefore, the same meaning. The first is used in the Old Testament for several times, beginning with its mention in Psalm 2: 9 and ending in Malachi 4: 5. The second is a term used in the New Testament. Both names refer to the period during which God intervenes openly in the affairs of men, in blessing and judging the nations, the kings or chiefs who run this world (see Ps. 2), the apostate church which is designated as the prostitute (Rev. 17), and also Israel, which for Him constitutes a relic (Rev. 12 : 13-18).

Once this distinction has been made, given the context of Matthew 24, we can better understand the context of the "this day" that only the Father can know. If we carefully consider the verses 26-31, it is clear to see that the "day of the Lord" is highlighted.

26 “Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the                                   secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of                          the Son of man be.

28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days  shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give                            her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth                                mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect                              from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

All these verses in red unambiguously describe "the day of the LORD" in phase 3, which corresponds to the Return of Jesus on earth. Therefore, they do not in any way refer to the "day of the Christ": His coming is in preparation for the Rapture. This is why, I refer again to verse 36; "Purpose of That day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only", the day in question here is the “day of the LORD.” This is confirmed in a wonderful passage by Zechariah, which highlights the contextual reality with great force.

               1.      "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of                             thee.

               2.      For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled,                         and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people                           shall not be cut off from the city.

               3.      Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

               4.      And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and                         the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there                             shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward                         the south..

               5.      And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea,                         ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD                           my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

               6.      And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark.

               7.      But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor                               night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light." (Zec. 14 :1-7).

This text, and verse 7 in particular, describes this day as being the "day of the LORD" from verse 1, in relation to the Return of Jesus and His coming to earth. This is specified as a day known only to God, which agrees with what is said in Matthew 24: 36.

Why can it not be known?  Without doubt, because the Armageddon must remain a surprise and surely for God's own reasons, which we will understand when the time comes. It is also extraordinary that; after having received all the evidence, I realised that the Lord allowed me to be aware of all the dates of each event of the end, except for one. Indeed, a detailed chronology indicates (as we shall see in the 3rd part), the exact dates of the Rapture, but also the appearance of the Antichrist, the beginning and the end of the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation, and even the Millennium, but in no case the precise day of Return of Jesus on earth. The only day that we cannot know with precision (at least the time and the precise day, but not the month and year), is that of the Return of Jesus on earth corresponding to the third stage of the "Day of Lord "as Jesus had announced in Matt. 24: 36 as well as the prophet Zechariah (Zec. 14: 1-7).

Secondly, if we consider this verse in a literal way, we notice that this indisputable fact is limited only to the time and the day, not the year and month: nothing seems to oppose or contradict this. I would go so far as to say that other Bible verses give us a more accurate insight into God's plan: everything has its time!

Thirdly, Jesus cannot contradict Himself, being Himself "the Living Word", because the Word of God says that the fulfilment of certain prophecies belongs to the end of time and will be sealed until then:

"And he said:  Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end" (Da. 12 : 9).                    But here we are, at the end time!

As some prophecies have not seen the light of day, it is impossible to know when this Day will occur. In particular the parable of the fig tree, which comes even before Matt. 24: 36, refers to the prophecies of Israel as a nation (Is. 66: 8). Without the fulfilment of this prophecy in particular, it was impossible to make even the slightest predictions, in the same way as that of Daniel 9: 24 -27, which relates to the tender branches of the fig tree (the people of Israel and the holy city of Jerusalem). The reply of Jesus is that nobody will know. This remains implicit until the fulfilment of the word of God. The apostle Peter understood this later by insisting:

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a                                       light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts;..." (2                                       Peter 1 : 19).

The only light that has been given to us in this world of darkness, to know the time of the Day of Christ, is prophecy. As the light that shines in the darkness of this world gradually progresses over time, it will highlight the prophecies that bring us ever closer to the Day of Christ. No prophecy can be subject to personal interpretation, as the men that speak the prophecies are driven by the Holy Spirit to speak on behalf of God Himself. (2 Peter 1: 20-21). Man cannot understand it for himself unless it is revealed to him by the Author of this inspiration.

II.2) Second confusion : in Revelation 3 : 3 and 1 Thess. 5 : 1-5

Another verse of interest, when taken in its contextual meaning:

"Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore                                        thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will                                            come upon thee" (Rev. 3 : 3).

This warning speaks to those who do not keep watch, and thus shall be be affected by the surprise. Due to their negligence, they do not expect it at all, and they do not see the “Day of the Lord” coming. The following verse supports this idea:

1  "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you!

2  For yourselves know perfectly that  the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night….

3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as                                              travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

                  4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief;

5  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of                                                darkness" (1Thess. 5 : 1-5)

It is "the day of the Lord" which comes as a thief, and not the Lord Himself. The people that will be affected on that day are all of those who dwell in the night and the darkness of this world. Verses four and five indicate that the children of light and of the day will not be as affected as those who will be suddenly surprised by the pains of childbirth (verse 3), because children of God themselves long for the “day of the Christ”. This will be the day of their final adoption by the redemption of their bodies (Rom. 8 : 23).

III.3)  Third confusion : on verses 6 and 7 of Acts 1 :

"When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

And he said unto them, It is not for you (apostles of the foundations of the Church) to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power" (Act. 1 : 6-7).

Here, the disciples' question concerns the restoration of the Kingdom of Israel in the Millennium, which is also the "day of the LORD", but takes place on the 9th act of this Day. While in the previous verses, the focus was on the third act of the "day of the LORD" for the end of time. Jesus' response is not in the form of criticism, but clearly establishes the fact that the Father reserves the right to His own authority, and will reveal to those he deems fit to do so. Obviously, it did not concern the disciples of the apostles’ time. This was for good reason! They were among the early Christians of the foundation of the Church of Christ, and not Christians of the end of time. God reveals all things in His own time, and this is the case for all Christians and all generations. That day may now be known because some prophecies have been realised since, as we will see in the detailed end-time chronology.

In conclusion, if there is one day that no one will know, it is that in Zechariah 14 :1-7, described and confirmed by Jesus Himself in Matt. 24: 36, i.e. the Day of His coming and His great Return to glory on earth. This Day is certainly not to be confused with that of His coming for the Rapture

IV) Examples in the Bible relating to the prediction of the Day of Christ as the plan of God plan for His children.

IV. 1) Noah and the Flood:

The story of Noah is given in comparison with the context of Matthew 24, otherwise expressed as the "day of the LORD". It should be noted that this example follows verse 36. I will not comment here on this entire text (because it is already explained in Volume 2 p.108 to 118), but I will limit myself to what interests our subject. I draw your attention to the following fact: as this story is given in comparison with the "day of the LORD", we can know when Jesus will come for us, as was the case for Noah.

« 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in                                   marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark;

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man                             be." (Matt. 24 : 36-39).

The first text is rich in instructions for those of us who have come to the end of time. Verse 37 calls to us to notice some similarities between the period of Noah and that of our generation, who will witness the coming of Christ. Moreover, the verse that precedes it is that which we have commented on above, and regards the "Day of the Lord". This day is compared to that in verse 39, which is the flood representing the judgment of Noah’s era. The verse says: "they did not suspect a thing ... and swept them all away." Who, therefore, did not suspect a thing? All except Noah and his family. Only Noah and his family, unlike the others, had believed what God said. For this reason, God revealed to them the time of their departure and the judgment that was to follow. Here is the proof:

Gen. 7 :

  • "And the LORD said unto Noah: Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

  • Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female;

  • Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

  • For yet seven days, (the flood, parallel to the Day of the Lord) and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth".

This extract confirms a certain fact: God revealed to Noah the precise moment that he had chosen to judge the world. He certainly did not do it at the beginning of the preparations, but at the moment when the ark was ready. If we consider that the ark represents the image of the Church, the Lord is to reveal the time remaining before the final moments of His coming for the final preparations. I attest to you, like Noah at this time, that those who are considered worthy in the Eyes of God and who have opened their ears to hear God's call will not be left. This call will be made through His servants, like Noah for his generation. Thanks be to God, as far more than just one family will participate in the "day of the Christ." For those of you who do not know, the day on which you shall learn is close. You shall not be surprised if you put yourself in the Hands of God.

The same applies to Lot, except that the latter was saved in the last minutes of the last day. This means that many Christians may be dangerously exposed to the evils of this world come the end of time. This could be because of bad choices, or a particular moment in their career (such as Lot). However, these shall be spared of the extreme judgements of God. Because of this I warn you sentinels, do not stop sowing until the last minute, take the example of the thief on the cross who was forgiven by Jesus in extremis.

2) Elijah before his removal.

The story of Elijah is one more example proving that "the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." (Amos 3 : 7).

Elijah knew the exact day of the removal, not only of himself, but also of his servant Elisha and other prophets and their sons.

"And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace" (2 Kings 2 : 3).

A few hours later, in another city, Jericho, the sons of the prophets gave him the same remark: Verse 5:

"And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him: Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day?"

Why in the same story, does the Spirit recall these two similar situations in different places? It is because it shows that God wants to reveal His secrets to as many of those who are willing to receive them. He left none of His children indifferent to the scheduled date of the removal of Elijah, who is the figure of the Church of Jesus Christ. I know that the Lord will manifest Himself first in a small number to reveal the date of their "Day of Christ." They shall become sentinels to warn the people of His coming. They will then awaken all of the virgins from their slumber. Volume 2 has already contributed, by the Holy Spirit, to opening the eyes of the sentinels, as well as all other means which God has established in the world. Volume 3 - and especially the seven irrefutable proofs in Part 3 - should enable the sentry, according to the good pleasure of His will, to reinforce his mission to announce the date of the "day of the Christ" to all ten of the virgins.

Summary of the Book

"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand" (Rev.1 :3).

After publishing two books of enlightenment and revelations about the end of time, (Volume 1:"God's Final Call Before the End of Our Generation", and Volume 2; "Revelations About the End of Time: the Rapture and the Return of Jesus Christ”), Volume 3 is presented to continue and complement those which have preceded it.

This last book aims to deeply challenge the awareness of the virgins in their preparations for the imminent coming of the Bridegroom. The widespread, and incorrect, idea in the evangelical field claiming that it is impossible to know the date of upcoming events, is heresy plotted by the enemy of God. This is because it is deplorable to think that the servants of Lucifer have a better idea of the time of the Antichrist’s coming, than the Christians do of Jesus Christ’s own return. However, beyond the detailed evidence in this book, the author strives to demonstrate that the confusion among the people of God is due to a lack of revelation and knowledge; they are the victims of false doctrines. The author denounces to allow the prophetic Spirit to spread. He also tries to prove by the grace of God that the Bible, against all odds, contains within its precious pages all the information necessary to arrive at the knowledge of that date.

Of which prediction do we speak? If there is indeed a date in the Scriptures of which no one can know, this is certainly not the day of the Rapture called the "day of Christ." The author has indeed received ten proofs, of which seven are irrefutable. However, the exact date of the return to Earth of Jesus, with His angels and His saints, remains secret.

The key to the mystery is found in part in the fundamental difference that the author explains as being the Rapture, and the "day of the Lord" also known as the “day of the LORD” which occurs after the Rapture.

Finally, before jumping to conclusions, we should not neglect that which was said by the apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, to "prove all things" and "test the spirits to determine whether they are of God ...".

Books abstract for Volume 3 THE SEVEN IRREFUTABLE PROOFS of the Rapture and the commencement of apocalyptic events:

I remind you that you only have a brief summary of the biblical proofs (see in detail pages 59-129 Volume 3: free in .pdf form)

1st Proof: The inspired chronology of the 6,000 years leads to the same date as all the other evidence, that is to say the end of 2022 for the beginning of the millennium and 2015 for the start of the Church. Two essential elements for the reconstruction of this chronology that have been omitted, I would go so far as to say kept secret until now from theologians and scholars, were revealed to me and confirmed directly by the Holy Spirit (see table and explanation on page 4 and 5 of this site).

2nd Proof: The great prophecy of Daniel 9:25-27 consists of three phases, the second gives precisely the month and year of the coming of Jesus for His people, namely September 2015 (see in detail in book). I stress again that without the will of God I would never have arrived at it...

3rd Proof: The tetrads, an exceptional and rare astronomical phenomenon (7 in 2000 years), of which the last two happened in the twentieth century, heralding an unprecedented major event for the Jewish people and consistent with the achievement of Biblical prophecy. What is all the more extraordinary is that the phenomenon must be reproduced during an 8th similar Tetrad in 2014 and 2015, the last for 5 centuries. This Tetrad is altogether similar to the three preceding, but with one additional particularity. Indeed, this phenomenon will be manifested in the same way by a major event not only for Israel but with an impact on the world because of the prophecies of the end of time that must accompany it. And I want to say emphatically, there has never been a question of things as serious in terms of biblical prophecies as those predicted here, because I know from whom I have received them. The last days we are living are comparable to those in the Bible referring to the time of Noah in the last months before the flood...

4th proof: The Feasts of the Lord are seven in number and important in the Bible through their spiritual significance in relation to the person of the Son of God. The religious year Israel opened in spring of the first month of Nissan. The first three festivals (Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits) were celebrated in the first month, the last three (feasts of Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles) during the seventh month of Tisri. As for the feast of Pentecost, it is in the middle, or 50 days after the offering of the first fruits.
The four spring festivals have been completed on the same day of the Jewish holidays at the first coming of Christ by his death for the first 3 and the 4th at the coming of the Holy Spirit during the day of Pentecost.
The last three autumn Feasts remain to be accomplished and that must be done because all the scriptures must be fulfilled and it will be during the second coming of Christ.
The feast of trumpets, Rosh Hashanah, is the one that interests our subject, because it is associated in its spiritual significance with the removal of believers. But this celebration is happening within the Tetrad in a solar eclipse from 13 to 14 September 2015. Even more special, all of the 4 lunar eclipses of the Tetrad + the two solar eclipses are all associated to the day with Jewish holidays, which precludes any likelihood of chance.

5th proof: The seven weeks of Daniel's prophecy undoubtedly bring us to the coming of Christ in September 2015 (see detail in book). The readjustment of the Gregorian calendar to the biblical calendar limits the event to two days, during the festival of Rosh Hashanah.

6th proof: The prophecy of Joel 2:30-31 in the Bible speaks of this event with great precision. If we summarize this, we can say that it predicted two signs in the heavens to be achieved before the "Day of the Lord." These two symbols are similar in all respects of their description to the last two eclipses of the Tetrad. But to understand the meaning of this prophecy see what the Holy Spirit showed and explained to me in Volume 3, Part 3.

7th proof: The prophecy of the Apocalypse of John 6:12 is an extraordinary proof in that it differs from Joel and supports all other evidence, i.e. evidence in the proof. There are two signs also similar to that of Joel, but at a different time. Indeed, the prophecy of the Apocalypse of John relates to a time during the Wrath of God in the last week of Daniel (the Tribulation of 7 years), and not before the "Day of the Lord" as stated by Joel.
Taking into account the two different contexts prophecies, the Lord has allowed me to discover the existence of two other similar eclipses, the partial solar eclipse of September 13, 2015 and the full lunar eclipse of September 28.  And these two eclipses in the prophecy of John fit exactly into the place that was given to me for the 6th seal in the chronology, which is the prelude to the mid-Tribulation (or beginning of the Great Tribulation). Similar eclipses to those of 2015 will take place on January 6, 2019 as a partial solar eclipse and the full lunar eclipse will be January 21, 2019. Moreover these two eclipses are separated by 15 days exactly as for September 2015 and to the same extent, partial for the sun and full for the moon as confirmed by the prophecy: "the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood ..."
The prophecy states that only the moon is full, implying that the solar eclipse represented by the sackcloth of hair is partial. Finally, here is the link of causation between these two prophecies of the prophets Joel and John; knowing that the Tribulation period is in 2019 like the two eclipses, we have evidence that dates the beginning of the Tribulation as being 3.5 years before, and therefore the end of 2015.
